Recent Research
In 2007 the Australian Government commissioned a study to capture the health of our children.
Kids Eat Kids Play, or the Australian National Children's Nutrition and Physical Activity Survey is directed by the University of South Australia (UniSA) and the Commonwealth Scientific Industrial and Research Organisation (CSIRO). The study aims to provide information about the dietary intake and weight status of 4,000 children aged 2-16 years, and activity patterns of 3,200 children aged 5-16 years.
The results are available at Kids Eat Kids Play or 2007 Australian National Children's Nutrition and Physical Activity Survey - Key Findings.
