Did you know that a typcial family's supermarket weekly groceries have travelled over 9,000 kms?

Enthusiastic local residents are investigating setting up a food co-op and are getting the ball rolling with a food co-op bus tour next week.

When: Meeting from 9:30am (for a 10:00am sharp departure) on Wednesday 22 July. 

Where: Meet at Cafe on Cleveland - 3 Cleveland Rd. Ashwood VIC 3147 Ph: (03) 9888 3377. (view map)

The tour will visit Friends of the Earth food co-op in Collingwood then CERES in Brunswick. There is a cafe at CERES where you can buy lunch or bring your own. The tour will return and be back at Cafe on Cleveland by 2:00pm.
