Workshops

Parents from Clayton North Primary School, St Mary Magdalen's Catholic Primary School, Oakleigh Primary School, Glen Waverley Primary School and Parkhill Primary School were invited to attend free workshops designed to help parents provide a healthy and active lifestyle for their children.

Each school hosted 2 workshops in Term 2, and two workshops in Term 3, 2009.

Workshop 1 covered quick healthy meal ideas, new ideas for lunch boxes, cooking on a budget.
Workshop 2 covered strategies to deal with fussy eaters and how to read food labels.

Workshop 4  was a cooking demonstration. Parents watched experienced cook Susie Rodger-Wilson cook several healthy and quick meals.  Click here for details. View workshop 4 photos.

Currently there are no more workshops for 2009. We hope to receive further funding in the future to continue the program. Until then, please register your interest by emailing us.
